I would ask, how much longer can these words be used together?
I think of myself as a logical person and attempt where possible to consider all the options and scenarios at hand.
As a Project Manager, coming through the ranks I was taught to measure possible outcomes against past achievements or failings.
For me when doing this, I can only see the world as a big island, with limited resources, area, water, air and so on.
The experts are still debating the real reasons why Easter Islanders went into extinction, but to find an empty landscape with nothing remaining, is what there is now.
Did they use up everything the island had to offer, only to find out that the statues brought no benefits?
Anyway don’t use that as an example, just type in extinct into Google and see what’s happening further down the food line.
I’m not a Greeny who wants people to recycle, as I don’t think this is a big enough change that will make a difference.
I’m a parent raising two kids, I worry about where our leaders are taking us and how long it will take to get the change which will make a difference.
Considering all current models are based on the need for Growth, I’m finding it hard to consolidate in my head, how this can keep going?
I don’t know about your position, but I know I don’t have a boat to get off this island, and I’m guessing I won’t be getting one in the near future.
If we were to consider that the world was a single organisation, would you say that the program of projects currently are all working towards a common goal for achieving the right objectives?
If you were a director on the board, do you think approving Billions, Trillions of dollars for defense projects and such, is meeting the share holders best interests?
Just say we listen to some of the experts which are forecasting 2050 as the deadline, bring it forward 10 years for a contingency, It really doesn’t mean 2040 is far away?
Do you think the project will be finished by the due date, liquidated damages may be fairly costly don’t you think?
I’m putting up my hand up to get involved with this project and really think that if there’s any chance of getting it finished on time, we better get started now.
